Winpisinger Education and Technology Center in Hollywood, Md. The goal of the programs is to help strengthen Human Rights Committees and equip IAM activists with the tools needed to promote fairness, equality, and inclusion across our union and workplaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants will receive training to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Strengthen local and district-level engagement in advancing human rights<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Defend and improve worker rights through the legislative process<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support organizing efforts that prioritize traditionally underrepresented workers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop strategies to address and intervene in workplace harassment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Learn about IAM resources available to support Human Rights Committee work\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Human Rights Committees play a vital role in building inclusive participation in union leadership and promoting diversity, mutual respect, and equality throughout the IAM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>2026 Human Rights Program Dates<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>May 3-8, 2026<br><em>Register by March 9, 2026<\/em><strong><\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><\/strong>Oct. 18-23, 2026<br><em>Register by Aug. 24, 2026<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How to Register:<\/strong><br>Members can register using the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLScUZKkQj2XZhdiU-TazoA0rmeMzXAlBes30aPCt88Kyp92yVg\/viewform?usp=sf_link\">Departmental Program Registration Form<\/a>.
