You have a right to training and information on machinery, equipment, working conditions, processes and hazardous substances.<br>Example of a worker\u2019s&nbsp;<strong>Right to Know:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Violence in the Workplace (Past experience or occurrences)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ergonomics (Known Hazards)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Asbestos (Known Locations)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Employer must post WCB inspection reports<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You can ask the employer to provide information on:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Hazards in your workplace<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience of other workplaces<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>WCB orders and penalties<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.healthandsafetybc.ca\/resources\/rights-and-responsibilities\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.healthandsafetybc.ca\/resources\/rights-and-responsibilities\/\">Rights and Responsibilities BCFED<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Right to Know Workers have the&nbsp;Right to Know&nbsp;about any potential hazards in the workplace.
